Level E Inspection Room Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

Removes shell and foreign material from products.

JOB DUTIES

Essential functions:

• Visually inspect all products for shell or foreign material.
• Transport inspected product to boxing station.
• Ensure that work is performed safely.
• Helps with master sanitation and cleaning schedules (requires some work on Saturdays).
• Understand HACCP program and how it relates to department
• All employees are responsible for Food Safety and Quality and report any incidents involving food safety to his supervisor.

Other duties/functions:

• Performs other duties assigned to them by their Supervisor or Plant Managers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education/Training :

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Kernel Plant experience preferred
• Must be reliable, honest, productive, and be a team leader. Must exhibit a positive attitude, communicate well with workers, and make good decisions.
