    FINANCE AND INSURANCE MANAGER

     

    SUNDOWNER TRAILERS OF TEXAS AND TRIPLE M TRAILERS OF TEXAS is a second generation, family owned and operated trailer dealership in Texas. Since 1981 we have sold and serviced horse trailers, stock trailers, living quarter trailers, utility trailers, equipment trailers, custom trailers, used trailers, and truck beds. We have diversified over the past several years to also include the sales of toy hauler trailers, motorsports trailers, cargo trailers, dump trailers, and sport utility trailers.

    The F & I MANAGER is an individual contributor that provides ancillary and financing services to customers by verifying sales information, determining a need for financing; evaluating customer creditworthiness, preparing financial and legal documents; presenting and selling ancillary products and services; maintaining rapport with customers.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Effectively utilize the finance and insurance sales process to sell products to all customers, including inputting all sales deal information into the company systems.
    • Track sales goals and closing ratios. Establish and meet monthly objectives.
    • Identify and sell the best solutions/products for both the customer and the dealership and continuously explore new products and approaches to sell.
    • Successfully convert customers into financing solutions. Submit paperwork to, and obtain approval from, finance sources on all finance deals.
    • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all sales and finance paperwork in ways that meet all legal regulatory and company guidelines / values.
    • Coordinate delivery schedules through effective communication and teamwork with the service and sales departments; maintain delivery calendar.
    • Create and maintain a process with the sales department that insures all buyers are referred to the finance and insurance department.
    • Effectively work with all departments and personnel in the dealership.
    • Discuss and resolve any concerns with customers prior to closing the sale.
    • Handle all rate quotations.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Previous experience in an F&I Department or in a Sales Position.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar or commensurate industry experience.
    • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
    • Excellent organizational skills

    • Strong math and computer skills
    • Willingness to work extended hours to achieve goals
    • Non- traditional work schedule due to retail nature of the job; Evenings and Saturday hours should be expected.
