    Our client is a professional firm that provides ESOP and 401(k) recordkeeping and administration services for companies that sponsor Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). Their main office is located in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia, although their client base is nationwide. They allow the flexibility to work from home, must be located in EST or CST time zone. They’re one of the top 3 companies that provide ESOP recordkeeping and administration services and they’re seeking sharp, detail-oriented, dedicated individuals to join their team.

    401(K) ADMINISTRATOR

     Due to company growth and promoting from within, our client is seeking detail-oriented, dedicated 401(k) Administrator who wants to delight clients. You must be well organized, self-motivated, and able to manage your own caseload, including deadlines. You will also be responsible for all aspects of engagement management, including compliance testing, distribution and loan processing and regulatory reporting. Our client will expect you to roll up your sleeves and handle any and all tasks related to the engagement.

    Depending on experience, you may have the flexibility to work from home or at our office in Charlottesville, Virginia.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum 3 years recent hands-on 401(k) administration experience for candidates who require a home office work arrangement, located in EST or CST time zone. Less than 5 years of hands-on experience will be considered for on-site candidates.
    • Very strong technical and analytical skills
    • Experience working “unbundled” with national daily recordkeeping platforms
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Outstanding written and oral communication skills and client service skills
    • Plan design, consulting and plan document preparation experience are highly desirable
    • Experience with ASC software is preferred, though not essential
    • Qualified Pension or 401(k) Administrator certification is a plus (QPA, QKA)
