SALES ENGINEER As the Sales Engineer, you’ll be significant to overall company growth. You will be a people-focused technical sales leader who’ll provide technical direction and recommendations to the company’s Channel Partners, Independent Software Vendors (ISV), and our client’s internal Sales Team. Your work will be a primarily achieved individually or through project teams and you’ll be expected to work independently with discretion and good judgment. RESPONSIBILITIES:        

    • Driving innovative technical programs and overseeing day-to-day account-level activities.
    • Acting as a technical consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology, budget, and business requirements for existing and new clients.
    • Assisting and supporting the Software Application Developers to achieve accurate and timely solutions.
    • Providing technical and brand assistance to Channels, Distributors, and Sales Managers, which requires product demonstrations and training.
    • Conducting research, working with QA to test product for accuracy, and removing any objections that may arise when taking on new clients.
    • Anticipating technology and market trends to provide Management recommendations to stay technically current and on top of our competition. Additionally, providing on-going guidance to customers by proposing new products and solutions.
    • Attending and providing technical assistance for trade shows.
    • Traveling to visit Software Partners across North America.

    QUALIFICATIONS:        

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Technical Engineering, or related field required. Candidates who do not possess the required education may substitute additional related experience on a year-for-year basis
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical sales role. Preferably within POS Technology vertical
    • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.  Skills must include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Stellar written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision-makers
    • Demonstrated technical experience, especially with networking and working on various operating systems
    • 30-45% travel as necessary in support of new business efforts and related activities (domestic and international locations possible)
    • Must have/obtain a valid U.S. Passport or U.S. Passport card
