    SALES & PROMOTIONS SPECIALIST (SPS) JOB DESCRIPTION 

    OVERVIEW 

    Inspira Marketing Group, an award-winning experiential marketing agency, is seeking brand representatives for an exciting 12-week sales and promotions program happening in 7 markets around the country on behalf of our client, Vermont Cider Company. This program will focus on Vermont Cider Company’s “Day Chaser” brand.

    PROGRAM TIMING 

    • TRAINING: June 6th – June 12th
    • ACTIVATION: June 13th – September 7th

    This program is scheduled to launch the week of June 6th with an in-depth virtual training followed by 12 weeks of activation from June 13th through September 7th.

    PROGRAM STRUCTURE 

    • (~50) Dedicated Accounts (On & Off Premise)
    • (~5) Product Samplings per week o 2 hours each
    • (~12) Account Calls per week o Defined as scheduled meetings with an account gatekeeper to obtain new points of distribution (PODs) and/or increase velocity
    • Tuesday – Saturday Schedule (off Sunday/Monday)

    COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

    • W2 employee
    • Bi-weekly payroll
    • Salary - $1,100 - $1,200 per week (based on experience) 
    • Bonus/Incentive Opportunities - up to $2,500
    • Travel stipend - $150 per week to cover travel expenses 
    • A corporate American Express card will be provided to use for all work-related expenses.

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Oversee and build relationships with ~50 accounts on & off premise accounts
    • Schedule and execute ~5 product samplings per week
    • Work closely with local distributor and distributor partners to collaborate on goals and objectives and ensure proper product inventory and proactively manage OOS issues
    • Securing new points of distribution (PODs) and increasing product velocity
    • Recapping & Reporting after activation
    • Meeting KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
    • Social Media Postings/Engagements
    • Relationship building in accounts, with consumers & distributors
    • Product Placement
    • Account Product Training
    • Consumer engagements/interactions on product

    REQUIREMENTS 

    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • Must be available for the duration of the 12-week program
    • Must live in the specified territory
    • Must have access to reliable transportation – personal vehicle
    • Must be willing to travel within the assigned sales region
    • Must be able to lift/move cases of product and/or point of sale displays regularly
    • Must be willing to work weekends and/or holidays, as needed

    SKILLS 

    • Outgoing, high energy, driven
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
    • MS Office skills
    • Execute POS programs to standard
    • Ensure compliance with all alcoholic beverage regulations
    • Assist in executing impactful promotions, educational presentations, and sales meetings both independently and with team members, at accounts
    • Utilize online database and systems to track all territory progress
    • Maintain open communication with field and HQ
    • Manage budget and maintain records for monthly reconciliation
    • Sales and/or customer service experience PREFERRED 
    • Beverage industry experience and/or interest PREFERRED 
    • Social media fluency and/or experience A PLUS
