JOB SUMMARY
Inspire Hospice and Palliative Care continues to grow across Georgia and is looking for a dedicated, experienced Vice President of Clinical Operations to take our clinical operations to the next level. The VP of Clinical Operations is responsible for overseeing the clinical services delivered to patients across the Inspire Hospice organization and leading the clinical regional support team responsible for quality assurance, compliance, clinical process management, clinical vendor management, and traveling clinical support. As a member of the executive leadership team for Inspire Hospice, this position is responsible for driving a positive, supportive culture where team members are recognized, rewarded and energized to exceed patient and family expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- CURRENT GA REGISTERED NURSE (RN) LICENSURE REQUIRED.
- AT LEAST TWO (2) YEAR OF MULTI-SITE HOSPICE CLINICAL OR OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT REQUIRED.
- Must be knowledgeable of hospice federal and state regulations, clinical practice and billing requirements (CTI's, Plans of Care, IDG, Face to Face, etc.).
- Must be knowledgeable of hospice payor audits including ADRs, ZPICs, UPICs, etc.
- Great leadership and customer service skills.
- This position is primarily located in Duluth, Georgia; however, the ideal candidate must be willing to travel to hospice offices throughout Georgia, as may occasionally be needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit, hire, lead, coach and motivate the growing area clinical support team including Quality and Compliance Manager(s), Area Clinical Support Specialist and more.
- Collaborate and coordinate with Inspire executive leadership to develop and execute clinical strategies and initiatives that advance the Inspire Hospice mission and vision.
- Develop, train, and monitor adherence to company clinical policies and procedures.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical quality and compliance processes to ensure the provision of consistent, high-quality, and compliant hospice care across the organization.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical training and development programs to equip clinicians with the knowledge and expertise to deliver industry-leading hospice care.
- Monitor care provided by the clinical team and clinical leadership processes to ensure teams meet clinical outcome goals and provide excellent end of life care.
- Ensure survey readiness of the organization in compliance with company policies and all local, state and federal regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the field of nursing and hospice care and lead clinical initiatives resulting from those changes.
- Serve as an expert resource to office and regional leadership regarding Medicare conditions of participation, company policy, and clinical best practices.
- Participate in interview/hiring of clinical leadership positions (e.g., clinical managers and directors of operations)
