Executive Assistant (New York) Inspired Capital, an NYC-based Venture Capital firm with $500M under management, is looking for an Executive Assistant to support two Partners in day-to-day operations and firm management. You will interact closely with the Inspired Capital community, working to provide a best-in-class experience for founders and LPs across all interactions, both virtual and in person. We’re looking for a self-directed team player to join our collaborative, friendly, and fast-paced team of eight. This role is an opportunity to both excel in the day-to-day requirements and stretch your skills into new areas. You have the experience, ability, and desire to help us build the premier early-stage firm for companies across the country. The position will spend 3-4 days each week in our new Union Square office, with 1-2 days remote. Compensation is competitive and includes health benefits, retirement benefits, and paid vacation. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and prioritize the Partners’ calendars between in-person and Zoom • Set up and greet in-person meetings at the office, including technology, ordering meals, and coordinating space • Actively manage calendars to ensure that urgent meetings are prioritized and complex travel arrangements are covered • Ensure the partners have the materials they need—through research and organization—to be as prepared as possible for back-to-back meetings • Identify and develop new systems to maximize time, including tracking time allocation and inefficiencies • Track action items and follow-ups, ensuring that deadlines and priority items are attended to • Conduct ad hoc research • Provide support for personal errands on an as-needed basis and assist in coordinating personal appointments around busy work schedules • Plan and support events for the LPs, the portfolio, and the team • Process expense reports • Take on additional strategic projects on an as-needed basis Qualifications: • Minimum of two years of experience in a related support position (admin, hospitality, etc.) • BA/BS from a college or university • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Excel), G-Suite, Adobe, Slack, Expensify, video conferencing tools, and project management applications • Understand the importance of confidentiality and trust • Strong communication skills: written and verbal • Strategic thinker, able to work autonomously and give input • Dynamic, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment • Polished, friendly, and professional demeanor Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 yearly
