We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Installation Assistant to join our growing team. This entry-level position offers a clear pathway to becoming a Lead Installer, with ongoing training and growth opportunities.
What You’ll Do:
Assist Lead Installers in the safe, high-quality, and efficient installation of custom storage solutions in customer homes.
Support all phases of the installation process, including loading materials, prepping job sites, measuring, cutting, and assembling units as directed.
Follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines to ensure precision, efficiency, and protection of client property.
Ensure a positive customer experience through professional, respectful communication and behavior.
Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment, including table saws and hand tools.
Load, unload, and lift materials up to 50 lbs, with frequent bending and stooping.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites and in company vehicles.
Collaborate with team members to solve problems on-site and deliver excellent final results that meet Closets by Design’s standards.
What We’re Looking For:
No experience required—we provide paid training!
Coachable, dependable, and eager to learn.
Customer-focused, punctual, and professional
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Experience in carpentry, construction, or home improvement experience is preferred, but not required.
