About the Role:

Second Concept Coatings Inc is looking for a driven and experienced Lead to join our growing team in Albuquerque, NM! This is an exciting opportunity to take charge on job sites, guide a skilled crew, and deliver top-quality coating and finishing work that our customers trust and rely on.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise crew members on residential and commercial coating projects

Oversee surface preparation, application, and finishing of coatings to ensure quality standards

Coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks, and keep projects on schedule

Communicate with project managers and clients regarding job progress and any issues

Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials

Enforce safety protocols and jobsite compliance at all times

Inspect completed work for quality control before project sign-off

Requirements:

Previous experience in coatings, painting, or a related trade is required

Prior leadership or supervisory experience on a job site preferred

Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating application methods

Ability to read and follow project specifications and work orders

Reliable, punctual, and able to manage a team effectively

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
