Installation and Route Manager (Furniture and Design) Join Elite Austin, where we’re not just a team— we're a work family that works well together, lifts and supports one another (and has fun while doing it)! As a local company that specializes in home staging and furniture rental, we take pride in our collaborative and lively atmosphere that values work-life balance like it’s a prized possession. Your day kicks off at 7:00 AM and wraps up by 3:30 PM, leaving the rest of your day and weekends for what you enjoy most! We’re on the lookout for a Logistics Install Manager to lead the day-to-day of our Logistics Department. If you’re brimming with energy, love to lead a team, and have a knack for keeping things organized, you could be our perfect fit! You’ll be managing a dynamic crew of 4-6, keeping our fleet of four company-owned trucks in tip-top shape, and ensuring our daily routes run smoothly and efficiently! This position requires a lot of hands-on work in the field that includes physical labor. This is not a solely computer-based position. Although part of this position is managing and organizing our amazing crew, as mentioned above, you will also be jumping in on the routes 3-4 days a week. A route involves driving our trucks around the Austin metro area and installing and removing our inventory from clients' luxury homes and condos. This is an active position that will require providing hands-on training to others while working hard yourself at the same time. If you’ve got a problem-solving mindset and can keep your cool amidst the chaos, you’ll fit right in! Some prior leadership experience is a must, as this role involves building relationships, training your crew, and giving constructive feedback like a pro. And don’t worry—we believe in nurturing our leaders, so additional training is something we focus on for everyone on our team. We take care of our team like they’re family. Our full-time positions come packed with benefits: medical, dental, paid time off, paid holidays, extra sick leave, short- and long-term disability, parental leave, and a matching 401(k). Flexibility is also part of the package, with leave without pay available if you need it. We work hard, and we play hard! Our quarterly company events are a time for fun and relaxation—whether it’s showing off your skills at TopGolf or enjoying a leisurely lunch on the river, we love to connect and spend time together! • Compensation: $55,000 - $59,000 per year DOE • $500 Sign-on Bonus after 90 days of employment! • Experience moving and assembling furniture is a bonus, but not required Responsibilities: • Oversee and Manage Route Operations : You’ll be the lead for our logistics team! Each route (2-3 per day) usually consists of one installation with a designer and one "move out" with just the logistics crew. Kick off the day with morning meetings to set everyone up for success and understand the day's assignments. • Be Hands-On : Expect to roll up your sleeves and perform route duties 3-4 days a week, delivering the Elite Experience to clients. You’ll lead by example, ensuring all quality control and property protection procedures are followed. Going above and beyond for clients is what we do best! • Train and Develop Your Team : You’ll be the point person for keeping quality control a top priority and making sure everyone is on the same page with current procedures. • Provide Dispatch-Style Support : Keep the lines of communication open! Update the crew with new info and tackle any challenges that pop up during the day. Reroute crews when they need a little extra help! • Scheduling and Planning the Routes : Adequately preparing for our routes is key to making sure we are aware of any challenges and how to go about them. Formulate the most efficient routes possible and add extra hands if needed to keep things running smoothly. • Fleet Maintenance and Repairs : Schedule repairs and preventative services to keep our trucks running like a dream. Qualifications: • Excellent communication skills are a must, both in-person and over the phone, to effectively connect with team members from various departments. • Previous experience in leadership is required, along with the ability to provide honest and constructive feedback without sugarcoating. • Setting a professional example for the team is essential in this role. • The role involves standing, moving, bending, and carrying items for extended periods. • Managing stress effectively and meeting deadlines with efficiency are key responsibilities. • Maintaining a positive attitude, collaborating well with the team, and approaching tasks with adaptability are valued traits. • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges are highly desired. • Quick adaptation to a fast-paced work environment is crucial. • Demonstrating integrity, accountability, and self-motivation is expected. • While experience in the moving industry is a bonus, it is not a mandatory requirement.
