Techlife Media System is expanding their business! The Huntington Audio, sound and video company is expanding their business and is looking for experienced and motivated Alarm Technician to join our growing team.
The technician should have experience with audio/video systems and or alarms in both burglar and fire. We are willing to train you in both systems to expand your knowledge in our business.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the installation and troubleshooting of the following systems:
Residential and commercial audio/video/alarm systems
Wired and wireless network systems
Home control and automation systems
Lighting control systems
Motorized window treatment systems
Camera surveillance systems
Equipment racks utilizing
Will also be required to neatly and clearly provide and complete daily documentation and job status reports.
Technical Qualifications:
Practical hands-on knowledge of audio/video equipment and low voltage electronics.
Must have practical hands-on installation and troubleshooting knowledge of alarm (burglar, smoke, CO, panels, and related wiring) systems.
Knowledge or understanding of residential network technologies.
Knowledge and understanding of construction documents and plans as well as of construction methods and materials.
The ability to efficiently work with hand tools, cordless drills, etc.
Knowledge of working with Windows PC and Mac/Apple products including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Google Calendar
Non-Technical Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and professional at all times.
Speak with clients professionally, respectfully, confidently, clearly and in a non-technical fashion.
Work independently and work in team environments with other installers and technicians.
Interact with architects, builders, interior designers, general contractors, electricians and other trades on a job site.
Deal with system issues and troubleshoot
Maintain a clean, organized and professional work environment and job site.
The perfect candidate will be a natural leader with a professional presentation and demeanor.
Must be fluent in English. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Clean driver’s license.
Some heavy lifting may be required.
