As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Installation Trainer to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of excellence.
Job Summary:
The Installation Trainer will be responsible for training new and existing employees on the proper techniques, safety protocols, and best practices for applying various types of floor coatings. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in floor coating applications, a strong understanding of different coating systems, and the ability to effectively communicate and teach others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on training sessions for new hires and existing employees on floor coating techniques, including surface preparation, application methods, and finishing.
- Develop and update training materials, including manuals, videos, and presentations, to ensure they reflect the latest industry standards and company practices.
- Educate trainees on safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of hazardous materials.
- Demonstrate the correct use of tools and equipment, such as grinders, sprayers, and rollers.
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies in floor coatings.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop customized training programs.
- Ensure all trainees understand and adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Travel to job sites as needed to provide on-site training and support.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in floor coating applications, with a strong background in polyurea, polyaspartic and other coating systems.
- Proven experience in training or mentoring others, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of surface preparation techniques, coating application methods, and troubleshooting common issues.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the floor coating industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in using floor coating tools and equipment.
- Ability to travel as needed for training sessions and job site visits.
- Certification in floor coating or a related field is a plus.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
