Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Installer Scheduler / Dispatcher to join our operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating installation schedules, managing crew dispatch, and serving as a key point of contact between project managers, installation teams, and customers. The Installer Scheduler ensures delivery times and install dates are accurately planned, communicated, and executed, supporting a seamless customer experience and efficient field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate installation schedules in collaboration with project managers and field supervisors.
- Serve as a customer-facing representative to confirm delivery times, installation dates, and special requirements.
- Dispatch installation crews, providing them with clear instructions, job details, and logistical information.
- Communicate daily with install teams to track progress, address issues, and adjust schedules as needed.
- Update scheduling software, calendars, and job tracking systems with accurate information.
- Ensure efficient use of labor and resources by monitoring workloads and adjusting assignments when necessary.
- Act as a liaison between customers, project managers, and installation crews to resolve scheduling conflicts or challenges.
- Provide timely updates and reports on project status, delays, or changes to leadership.
- Support office administrative tasks related to scheduling, dispatching, and documentation.
- Promote a high level of professionalism, customer service, and teamwork across all departments.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School diploma/GED required; additional education in business, logistics, or construction administration preferred.
- Experience in scheduling, dispatch, or project coordination (construction or installation industry experience a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency with scheduling software, calendars, and office applications.
- Ability to problem-solve, adapt quickly to changes, and make decisions under pressure.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, crews, and clients.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
Working Conditions
Office-based role with regular communication to field crews and customers. May require occasional site visits to support scheduling and coordination efforts. Standard business hours, with flexibility required for urgent scheduling changes or project needs.
