INSTANA is hiring a full-time Payroll Accountant to assist with overseeing all aspects of domestic and international payroll. This role will report to the Senior Accountant.

DUTIES:

• Multi-state payroll including international payroll for subsidiaries
• Monthly sales commission and bonus reconciliations
• Health benefits, deductions, 401k, and pension reconciliations
• Manage state registrations, filing, and compliance reporting
• Assist accounting team with month and year-end close including but not limited to AP, AR, expense reports, state sales/use tax reporting, and general ledger account reconciliations
• Support with financial audits
• Ad-hoc reporting and special projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-4+ years of experience in accounting operations in high-growth environment preferred
• Must have prior payroll experience, knowledge of Paycom system a plus
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong financial knowledge
• Highly organized, detail oriented, quick-learner and problem-solver
• Ability to wear many different hats to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• Able to work independently and communicate with all organizational levels
• Experience with NetSuite ERP preferred but not required
