Human Resources and Operations Manager
The Human Resources and Operations Manager is responsible for improving and implementing IPHI’s systems for ensuring strong internal administrative operations, compliance with legal requirements, and a dedicated, supported workforce. This is initially a temporary position associated with the major scale-up of IPHI’s staff to support the Fairfax County Health Department’s (FCHD) contact tracing initiative. There exists the potential for reclassification of this position to a longer-term position.
The Institute for Public Health Innovation (IPHI) will hire, train and deploy a team of community contact tracing staff, including case interviewers and contact tracers across Fairfax County, Virginia, who will work as an integrated part of the Fairfax County Health Department COVID-19 response effort. The aim of this will be to call every person in the county with probable or confirmed COVID-19, gather their contacts, and proceed to call every contact in the area to reduce the spread of COVID-19. These activities are in tandem with government efforts to increase testing, improve public communication, and instruct on isolation and quarantine. This will fortify efforts to control the pandemic in Fairfax County.
The Human Resources and Operations Manager will be an experienced, mid-level professional charged with maintaining effective human resources and organizational operations systems. This will be particularly critical in conjunction with the major scale-up required for IPHI’s collaboration with Fairfax County. This will require working in close coordination with other IPHI team members and communicating regularly with Health Department representatives and IPHI subcontractors. The Human Resources and Operations Manager will report to the Contact Tracing Program Director and work closely with the President & CEO of IPHI.
