    IFF has partnered with OHGEE.com to grow nationwide. We are diligently searching to help recruit for several hundred cannabis positions throughout the United States including fractional C-Suite executives. Each of the positions require either cannabis experience and/or education/training and in states that require it, a state marijuana agent card is required.

    Cannabis Production Specialist / Edibles Cook

    We are currently looking for production specialists/Edibles Chefs experienced in the production of cannabis edibles. As a Production Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the manufacturing of cannabis infused edibles, topicals and extracts and assembling and packaging products for distribution.

    As a Production specialist you have a passion for cannabis, an eye for detail, a background in a kitchen, and the ability to work in a fast paced production environment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Use specialized equipment to produce and accurately dose cannabis edibles correctly
    • Precisely and efficiently measure and weigh ingredients using recipe specifications.
    • Pour candies that are consistently the same size/weight.
    • Breaks candies out of the molds at the correct temp.
    • Completes the post processing of the candies to create a consistent product.
    • Performs prep for next work day.
    • Maintain and keep all equipment clean
    • Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment to mix, melt, pour, and bake raw ingredients.
    • Receive food items and ensure appropriate storage.
    • Weigh, assemble, package, seal, and label products.
    • Operate hot plates, kettles and other industrial kitchen equipment as needed for production.
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the facility and production areas.
    • Prepare finished and packaged products for distribution.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must be 21 years of age or older and able to successfully register with the state's cannabis commission as an agent.
    • Experience working in food production or in an industrial kitchen
    • Food Handler Certified
    • Reliable transportation
    • Ability to multitask
    • Ability to follow all appropriate safety standards in food production
    • Capable of lifting up to 20lbs
    • Must be able to tolerate the strong scent of cannabis terpenes in the workplace
    • Capable of standing in a stationary position for extended periods of time

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    In addition to all of the above required qualifications an ideal candidate will also meet the following criteria:

    • Knowledge of quality assurance practices
    • Culinary certification/degree
