Job Title: Instructional Design Specialist (Contract)
Compensation: $30.24 - $37.00 per hour
The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. About the Role:
Din Tai Fung is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Instructional Design Specialist to support our Talent, Learning, and Communications teams on a Contract basis. This junior position will focus on creating and enhancing training content to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in instructional design, a strong willingness to learn, and a commitment to supporting our team in developing high-quality training materials. This is a contract role with the possibility of turning into a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
Create and Develop Learning Content:
Assist in designing and developing training materials, including e-learning modules, presentations, training documents, and instructor-led materials.
Apply instructional design models and best practices to create engaging and effective learning experiences for diverse audiences and modalities, including in-person, remote, and hybrid settings.
Collaborate with Content Specialists and SMEs:
Work closely with content specialists and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
Participate in content review sessions and incorporate feedback to enhance the quality of training materials.
Utilize Instructional Design Tools and Technologies:
Use e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate), Adobe Creative Suite, and other software to design and develop training content.
Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in instructional design to continually improve training materials.
Ensure Quality and Consistency:
Conduct quality checks to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with organizational standards.
Help maintain organization of materials within our LMS.
Job Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in instructional design or related fields.
Familiarity of instructional design principles and models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
Working knowledge in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Storyline, Rise), Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with content specialists and SMEs.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Soft Skills: Excellent collaboration, adaptability, problem-solving, creativity, and a detail-oriented mindset.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in instructional design or education
