Job Summary:
MicroHealth is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our team supporting our client in Baltimore, MD. The Instructional Designer will support program and project managers and their respective teams in implementing organizational processes and best practices. The role involves performing process and product evaluations (audits) to ensure compliance with DMI and project-established policies, processes, procedures, and applicable standards, including ISO, CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC, ITIL, and PMBoK. The candidate must have hands-on experience with these frameworks and be capable of providing training to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Directly involved in implementing frameworks such as ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 9001:2008, CMMI-DEV/CMMI-SVC Level 3, and ITIL.
* Conduct training on the above frameworks for DMI employees.
* Perform evaluations to ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
* Evaluate software development and service performance against process documentation, project schedules, and quality standards.
* Conduct various QA activities including scheduling, checklist development, report writing, and facilitating root cause/lessons learned analysis.
* Present findings through internal and external presentations.
* Analyze and report on findings of non-compliance, providing recommendations for improvement.
* Track and escalate unresolved issues and ensure the closure of corrective and preventative action plans.
* Collect, analyze, and report metrics to the project manager/team and Corporate QA.
* Maintain the company’s process assets library, including all process definitions, templates, and document samples.
* Support Corporate QA initiatives such as CMMI Level 3 assessments and ISO re-certifications.
* Participate as a SCAMPI Team Member during SCAMPI B/A maturity level assessments and serve as an ISO Internal Auditor.
* Interface with external and internal customers to ensure quality work products are delivered on projects.
* Provide training on CMMI, ISO, ITIL frameworks, and project management best practices.
* Apply technical standards, principles, and theories to solve problems of moderate scope and complexity.
* Utilize hands-on experience or understanding of software development, support desk, and maintenance/operation projects.
