WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) Instructor/Operator (I/O). The Instructor/Operator (I/O) provides instructor-led medical training, simulation operations, and training support services for the U.S. Army's Medical Simulation Training Centers worldwide. The I/O delivers classroom instruction, hands-on practical exercises, battlefield trauma simulations, and scenario-based training designed to improve combat medical readiness for Soldiers, Combat Medics, Combat Lifesavers, and healthcare personnel. This position plays a critical role in preparing Soldiers and medical personnel to perform life-saving interventions under combat conditions while supporting the Army's medical readiness mission worldwide.
This position supports Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC/TC3), Combat Medic sustainment training, Combat Lifesaver (CLS) courses, Medical Education and Demonstration of Individual Competence (MEDIC) training, and other medical readiness programs approved by the Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE).
The Instructor/Operator serves as both an educator and simulation operator, ensuring medical training devices, simulators, and training environments are fully operational and capable of supporting realistic, high-fidelity training events. Delivers foundational and intermediate medical instruction supporting combat medic sustainment and combat lifesaver training progression.
This position is a contingent hire, meaning it is contingent on Fors Marsh winning an upcoming proposal. The interview process will be the same as our standard process, the offer letter (should we decide to move forward) will serve as a letter of commitment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Training and Instruction
Deliver instruction in accordance with MEDCoE-approved Programs of Instruction (POIs), curricula, and training support packages, ensuring alignment with current doctrine and standards, in classroom, field, and simulation environments.
Demonstrate hands-on skills performance and scenario-based training in accordance with MEDCoE and Deployed Medicine guidance.
Conduct and support Combat Medic (68W) sustainment training in accordance with TC 8-800 standards.
Instruct Combat Lifesaver (CLS) initial certification and recertification courses.
Teach Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC/TC3) courses and sustainment training across all tiers.
Conduct Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) training and recertification.
Provide Just-In-Time Training (JITT) as approved by MEDCoE and local Course Coordinators.
Conduct Train-the-Trainer programs for military medical personnel.
Support EMT sustainment training programs.

Preferred Qualifications
Former Army Combat Medic (68W), Special Operations Medic, Corpsman, or equivalent military medical experience.
Previous experience supporting Medical Simulation Training Centers (MSTCs).
Experience supporting EMT-level or Combat Lifesaver (CLS) instruction.
Experience with Laerdal, CAE, Gaumard, or other medical simulation platforms.
Experience conducting large-scale military medical exercises.
Instructor certifications from recognized medical credentialing organizations.
