    Job Summary

    We’re looking for a hardworking Instrument and Control Maintenance Technician to join our team! Responsibilities include installation, commissioning, testing, calibration, and maintenance of electronic instrumentation (Flow, Level, Pressure, and Temperature). The location is an industrial outdoor oil sludge recycling facility. You’ll make sure our Instruments are operating correctly, regularly inspect our instrument for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our instruments and control panels.     Responsibilities & Skills

    General experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC), automatic control valves, distributed control systems (DCS).

    General experience with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) configuration

    General Experience in Electric Instrumentation such as Coriolis meters, Mag flow meters, RTD thermocouples, DP flow meters, Pressure, Radar level transmitters, pH and Probes.

    Experience with Electrical schematics, Process flow diagrams, P&ID documents, Equipment and instrumentation Specifications Sheets and Standard Plant Operating procedures, and Industrial Safety standards.

    General Experience with Electrical control panel wiring, relays, motor control starters and Circuit Breakers.

    General Electrical Technical Support.

    Some mechanical experience is desired.

    Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs

    Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced

    Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks

    Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED or equivalent

    2 year technical AA degree or equivalent experience

    At least 5 years of industrial instrument and control maintenance experience

    Some knowledge of (HVAC), Chiller, Compressor Maintenance, and plumbing systems desired

    Electrical Control systems

    Electrical Panel experience

    Steam Boiler Maintenance

    IT support skills

    Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques

    Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends

    Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail

    40 hour Haz Mat Training will be provided
