    • Provide technical mentoring and guidance to engineering team members.

    Project Planning & Execution

    • Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct the technical execution of large-scale engineering projects or multiple smaller projects with complex technical requirements.

    • Manage project schedules, technical deliverables, and engineering resources.

    • Identify, evaluate, and resolve complex engineering challenges and design issues.

    • Communicate project progress, technical risks, and critical issues to engineering leadership.

    Engineering Design & Analysis

    • Apply advanced Instrumentation & Controls and electrical engineering principles to a wide range of design, modification, and improvement projects.

    • Perform engineering calculations, system evaluations, and design reviews.

    • Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and technical documentation.

    • Independently make sound engineering judgments and decisions regarding design solutions and methodologies.

    • Perform senior-level engineering assignments while serving in a technical leadership capacity.

    Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Represent the engineering group in project meetings, technical reviews, planning sessions, and coordination activities.

    • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project management teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

    • Present technical recommendations and project updates to management and key stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program.

    • Several years of experience in electrical and/or I&C engineering design within an industrial, utility, power generation, or manufacturing environment.

    • Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and coordinating engineering teams.

    • Strong understanding of engineering design practices, system integration, and project execution.

    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    Preferred

    • Experience supporting commercial nuclear power generation facilities.

    • Previous experience within a nuclear engineering organization.

    • Experience leading electrical or I&C modification, upgrade, or capital improvement projects.

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

    • Familiarity with nuclear industry regulations, standards, and engineering processes.

    Work Environment

    • Hybrid work arrangement.

    • Candidates should expect to be onsite a minimum of two days per week during the initial phase of the assignment.

    • Onsite requirements may be reduced based on performance, project needs, and management approval.

    • This is not a fully remote position.

    Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineer with a strong background in Instrumentation & Controls and/or Electrical Engineering who can successfully lead technical projects in a complex industrial environment.
