  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Responsible for all phases of instrumentation, control and networking at it relates to process control, process instrumentation and computer network. Responsible for all calibration requirements. Responsible for efficient and cost effective maintenance and repair of all plant/building equipment, both electrical and mechanical. Perform preventative maintenance procedures, as required and understand and utilize computerized work order system and maintenance inventory system.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Trouble shoot and repair or adjust existing equipment

    • Layout and install new equipment

    • Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled

    • Machine shop operation

    • Maintain boiler operations and steam handling systems. (ex. valves, traps)

    • Document all test results, process parameters and adjustments and environmental regulatory requirements

    • Operation of forktruck.

    • Operation of boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other motorized equipment as necessary.

    • Comply with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations and requirements.

    • Comply with company policies and site work rules.

    • Perform needed housekeeping functions

    • Complete environmental data gathering, as needed

    • Other duties as assigned or required.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High School Graduate or Equivalent
    • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Electronics, Industrial Electrical/Instrumentation Technology or similar Industrial Electrical Maintenance degree or at least 5 years industrial experience as an Instrumentation Technician, Industrial Electrician and general plant maintenance experience.
    • Knowledge of blue prints, carpentry, sheet metal repair, inventory, pipe fitting, electrical
    • Ability to use TIG and oxy-acetylene burning and welding equipment.

    • Participation in risk assessment audits as applicable
    • Understand PQ Principles (PQP) and how they are implemented in the site organization, rules and procedures
