Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Insulation Installer to join our insulation crew. This entry-to-mid level role is perfect for someone with 0–2 years of experience who wants to build a career in the insulation industry. You will primarily handle blown-in (loose-fill) insulation installations, serve as a spray foam job site helper, perform general labor duties, and provide friendly customer service on every job site. This is a great opportunity to learn spray foam application while gaining hands-on experience with blow-in insulation under the guidance of experienced technicians and the Operations Leader.
Key Responsibilities
Blow-In Insulation Installation
Install blown-in (loose-fill) insulation in attics, walls, floors, and other areas using blow-in machines and hoses
Operate high power insulation vacuum equipment safely
Calculate and achieve proper insulation depth and density according to job specifications
Prepare work areas by masking, protecting surfaces, and setting up containment
Operate blow-in equipment safely and efficiently
Clean up job sites thoroughly after installations
Spray Foam Job Site Helper
Assist the spray foam crew with site preparation, masking, and protection before spraying
Help with rig setup, material handling, and loading of spray foam chemicals
Support cleanup and equipment maintenance after spray foam applications
Learn proper spray foam techniques by observing and assisting experienced technicians
General Laborer Duties
Perform general labor tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving insulation materials and equipment
Load and unload trucks, organize tools, and maintain a clean work environment
Assist with ladder and scaffolding setup when required
Help maintain company vehicles, rigs, and tools in good working condition
Customer Service Duties
Represent the company professionally and courteously on all job sites
Communicate clearly with homeowners, builders, and project managers
Answer basic customer questions and provide friendly service
Assist with final job site walkthroughs to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain a positive attitude and help create a smooth, respectful job site experience
Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 0–2 years in insulation installation or related construction trades (blow-in insulation experience strongly preferred)
Willingness and ability to learn spray foam application techniques
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Good physical condition – able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, work at heights, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces)
Reliable, punctual, and dependable team player
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred Skills
OSHA 10 Certified
Previous experience with blown-in insulation machines
Basic knowledge of construction sites and safety practices
Mechanical aptitude or interest in equipment operation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Desire to grow within the insulation industry
