The Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado (PIIAC) is looking for an Account/ Program Manager for their workers compensation program. This role will be responsible for managing the workers compensation book of business. This includes maintaining renewals, maximizing profitable relationships with members, interfacing with carriers, and maintaining compliance throughout the program. This is a unique role as we are the preeminent Independent Insurance Agent trade association in Colorado. The Account Manager will also assist agents and agencies with risk placement, account questions, quotes, and coverages.

Responsibilities
· Work withing the workers compensation program to help maintain and grow a profitable book of business. Working with licensed insurance agents throughout Colorado to help them meet the needs of their clients and grow their book of business
Foster and maintain excellent relationships with independent agents throughout Colorado. This will include regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support. Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all member client needs.
Support and prepare members for renewal and retention and maintain strong member relationships.
Review client audits, verify and facilitate corrections as needed and maintain A/R and billing.
Continuous knowledge of carrier appetite and underwriting guidelines. Maintain trustful relationship with carriers and service companies. .
Manage and oversee compliance throughout the program. This will include accurate recordkeeping, creating and implementing systems, and collaborating with management and other team members to achieve success.
Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved, and execute sales activity documentation in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Collaborate with team members, provide expertise, and answer questions, participate in team meetings and discussions.
Maintain CE and participate in ongoing education and keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
Qualifications
· Hold the insurance license required by the state of Colorado.3-5 years of commercial lines insurance experience, to include extensive knowledge of workers compensation insurance. Account management experience is a requirement.
· Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain existing client base.
· Possess strong presentation, professionalism, and time management skills.
· Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing member relationships and servicing existing members.
· Possess outstanding organizational skills with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
· Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment. Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems.
Salary Range $62,500 - $65,500 plus bonus potential
