Insurance Agent

An insurance agent is a professional who sells insurance policies to individuals and businesses, acting as an intermediary between the client and the insurance company. They help clients find coverage for various needs like health, life, or property and casualty insurance, by explaining options and assisting with policy changes and claims. Agents can either be "captive," representing a single company, or "independent," working with multiple providers to find a range of options for their clients.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with inquiries regarding insurance policies and claims.

Process policy renewals and amendments in a timely manner.

Provide quotes and explain coverage options to potential customers.

Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.

Collaborate with underwriters to facilitate smooth policy issuance.

Educate clients on risk management and loss prevention strategies.

Resolve customer complaints and provide effective solutions.

Stay updated on industry trends and product offerings.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

We will help with you obtaining and Active insurance license in New Jersey

Previous experience in customer service or insurance preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer management software.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Positive attitude and a passion for helping others.
