Transition Your Current Expertise into Insurance and Financial Services: If you’ve built a career in education, business services, non-profit or anything in a strong client facing role, then likely you’ve developed valuable skills that could translate seamlessly into insurance and financial services. From hard work and problem-solving to community connections, these qualities can set you up for success in a career that allows you to continue making an impact while unlocking greater professional and financial rewards.
Resilience and Hard Work: The dedication and tenacity honed in a prior business role could translate into a strong foundation for building lasting client relationships and achieving new career milestones.
Strategic Thinking: Solving complex customer challenges mirrors the decision-making skills needed to guide clients through important financial planning.
Deep Community Roots: Trusted relationships and strong local connections give business professionals a natural advantage in building rapport and credibility with clients.
Rewarding Career Potential: Transitioning into financial services can open doors to a fulfilling career that combines personal growth with financial opportunity.
About the Position: As an Insurance agent, you will play a key role in guiding individuals and businesses toward achieving their financial goals. Through personalized insurance strategies and financial planning (once necessary licenses are achieved), you’ll build meaningful relationships, gain a deep understanding of each member’s unique needs, and provide customized solutions to support their long-term success.
Why New Agents Can Thrive Here: New agents benefit from an efficient onboarding process, with most prepared to begin within 30 days. A robust mentorship program ensures success early on, offering 25-35 appointments alongside an experienced mentor. Paid licensing and professional designations support continuous growth, while the mission-driven work allows agents to serve families in their communities. Additionally, agents start strong with access to a comprehensive database of approximately 1,000 client members, bypassing the need to rely solely on personal networks.
Qualifications for Success: While a 2- or 4-year degree is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates must be willing to quickly obtain (or reinstate) state insurance licenses and FINRA certifications.
Rewarding Benefits: Agents are supported by a starting draw and up to $12,000 in training grants. Additional incentives include incentive bonuses and luxury incentive travel. Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and disability insurance are provided, along with retirement benefits that include both a Pension and a 401(k) plan, ensuring long-term financial security.
Traits That Lead to Success: Successful candidates are mission-driven individuals active within their community. They thrive on following structured processes, are coachable, and open to learning and facing challenges. Self-motivation, energy, discipline, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities. Candidates who are open to new career opportunities and growth can excel in this role.
