Responsibilities: • Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales • Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals • Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients • Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met • Carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals Qualifications: • High school diploma necessary; college degree a bonus • Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial • Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required; customer service experience is a plus • Job seekers must already have or be willing to get an insurance license • Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders • Customer service experience is a plus Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 at plan
