Responsibilities: • Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders • Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients • Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances Qualifications: • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills are necessary; customer service skills are helpful • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory • Working knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus • Open to embracing the insurance industry and becoming educated about its relevant state and federal regulations • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required Compensation: $75,000 - $115,000 yearly
