Responsibilities: • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients • Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients Qualifications: • High school diploma necessary; college degree a bonus • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills are necessary; customer service skills are helpful • Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs • Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole • Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed Compensation: $36,000 Base + Commission
