Responsibilities: • Keep an accurate log of sales databases, client reports, bookkeeping records, and more to share progress toward goals with key stakeholders • Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs • Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking • Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied • **License & Compliance: **Obtain your state insurance license (if not yet licensed) and adhere to all industry regulations. • Product Knowledge: Master life and annuity products to provide customized client solutions. • Client Engagement: Build relationships with clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored insurance solutions. • Sales Prospecting: Develop your client base through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach. • Customer Service: Provide exceptional support after the sale, including policy updates and client inquiries. • Time Management: Balance client meetings, prospecting, and administrative tasks to maintain productivity. • Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets in terms of policies sold and premium volumes. Qualifications: • Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office • Working knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus • Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license • Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a desire to grow. • Ability to build trust with clients and deliver excellent service. • Organizational and time management skills. • Willingness to obtain state insurance license (if not already licensed). Compensation: $50,000+ at plan commission
