Our Insurance Agent in Training Protégé Program is designed for motivated individuals who want hands-on experience, personalized mentorship, and a clear path to becoming a successful Farmers Agency Owner - without the upfront capital requirements.

    This one-year program places you inside an established Farmers agency, where you will learn the business, develop your sales skills, and produce new business while being guided every step of the way.

    Program Overview:

    One-year structured program with defined production requirements

    Expectation to produce $100k or $150k in premium within the year

    Partner closely with your mentor agent - higher production benefits both you and your mentor

    Learn how to quote, sell, service, and grow a book of business

    Gain foundational experience that prepares you for agency ownership opportunities

    Responsibilities:

    Provide quotes, pricing, and product information to prospective and existing clients

    Meet new business sales goals by leveraging existing leads and generating new opportunities

    Ensure all quoting and sales procedures follow Farmers guidelines

    Build relationships through networking, outreach, and community presence

    Participate fully in training, coaching, and development sessions

    Requirements:

    Ability to obtain (or currently hold) Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses

    Must pass credit and background check
