The Insurance Brokerage Director is a senior leadership position responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing the firm’s insurance brokerage platform. This role serves as the strategic and operational leader for advanced case design, carrier relationships, advisor development, and brokerage performance across life, disability, long-term care, and annuity solutions. Performance & Growth • Track brokerage production, advisor engagement, and revenue trends • Develop strategies to increase case size, placement ratios, and cross-platform integration with wealth and planning teams • Support leadership in forecasting and growth planning Responsibilities: • Design and execute the long-term vision for the insurance brokerage platform, aligning with firm growth and advisor development strategies • Establish performance benchmarks, production metrics, and quality standards for brokerage activity • Drive innovation in advanced planning, case design, and product positioning • Provide hands-on support for advanced cases, including estate planning, business succession, executive benefits, and high-net-worth strategies • Lead broker training sessions and best-practice forums to elevate advisor capabilities • Build and maintain strong relationships with top insurance carriers and wholesalers • Stay ahead of market trends, product changes, and regulatory developments • Oversee brokerage workflows including case submission, underwriting coordination, placement, and in-force service • Ensure compliance with MassMutual, MMLIS, and regulatory standards Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in insurance brokerage, advanced markets, or insurance leadership • Knowledge of life insurance, DI, LTC, and annuity products and planning applications • Proven experience supporting and developing financial advisors or producers as brokers • Strong understanding of underwriting, carrier selection, and case design • Life/Health Insurance License Required • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 at plan
