    Schedule for the Insurance Coordinator:

    • Monday - Friday: 8AM - 5PM

    • Saturday: 8AM - 1PM

    *Team is to be at the office 30 minutes prior to start time.

    Roles & Responsibilities of the Insurance Coordinator:

    • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility, maintaining up-to-date records.

    • Communicate effectively with insurance providers to obtain the most accurate insurance information for patients

    • Enter all insurance details into patient accounts in our dental software - DSN

    • Maintain accurate financial records using DSN software, ensuring data integrity.

    • Handle volume breakdowns of insurance verifications

    • Stay updated on dental insurance policies and procedures, handle patient inquiries professionally, and collaborate with team members for smooth operations and patient satisfaction.

    Requirements of the Insurance Coordinator:

    • Strong background in dental billing, with a clear understanding of direct contracts, umbrella plans, and shared networks.

    • Knowledge of insurance guidelines, limitations, and medical billing experience is a plus but not required.

    • Proven experience managing dental insurance verification and processing, preferably within a dental or healthcare office.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both patients and insurance companies.

    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Task-oriented, with a track record of efficiently managing various dental insurance types.

    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
