Simon, Reed & Salazar, P.A., a mid-size firm, is seeking an associate attorney to join its growing third-party practice defending against personal injury claims on behalf of insurance companies, self-insured entities and other corporations in civil litigation. Our areas of practice continue to grow and include catastrophic loss, premises liability, medical malpractice defense, professional liability, product liability, and general defense liability.

Our firm seeks associate candidates with 3 to 5 years of litigation experience, trial experience a plus, who can work with a team on Florida matters throughout the life of the case. We are seeking applicants who are highly motivated, exhibit a strong work ethic, is responsive, and have strong writing and legal research skills. The position provides an opportunity for the associate to handle various aspects of the case including pleadings, discovery, depositions, court hearings, and motion practice in a variety of complex, high-exposure cases in a wide range of industries.

Our firm offers a balanced, collaborative work environment with competitive salary & benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications. Must be licensed in Florida, with federal bar admissions in the the Southern and Middle District Courts of Florida a plus.
