Job 18839: Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal

Downtown Manhattan insurance company is hiring a Paralegal to join its in-house legal department.

The ideal candidate is a meticulous self-starter with:

• A bachelor’s degree, preferred

• 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience

• Automobile accident case experience, preferred

• Motion drafting experience, required

Responsibilities:

• Review and assess cases and draft motions

• Consult with relevant parties including courts, witnesses, and opposing counsel

• Produce case status reports

• Assist with additional tasks, as needed

Additional information:

• Salary: $45K - $85K (non-exempt) commensurate with experience plus benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, 401K, PTO, and more

• Hybrid schedule after onboarding period
