The ideal candidate will be commutable to the Dadeland area, possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in Insurance Defense, with a preference for Medical Malpractice and Healthcare Defense.
Primary Responsibilities
Profile documents and correspondence in internal systems, including corresponding billing entries.
Maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling and confirming meetings, and ensuring deadlines and key dates are accurately tracked.
Assist attorneys with drafting and editing documents for grammar, formatting, accuracy, and overall quality.
Manage billing processes for assigned attorneys, including time entry, pre-bills, invoicing, and adherence to client billing guidelines.
Process incoming invoices from vendors, experts, and other third parties related to client matters.
Coordinate new matter intake, including conflict checks and case setup, and manage ongoing matter updates.
Answer and route incoming calls, responding to routine inquiries from clients and team members.
Organize and maintain client files and attorney work product.
Handle court filings and submissions through applicable electronic filing systems and platforms, and coordinate service to opposing counsel.
Develop proficiency in all required internal systems and software tools.
Perform a variety of administrative duties, including file management, correspondence, expense reports, continuing education tracking, and check requests.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
