We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Insurance Placement Assistant to support our daily operations and ensure smooth workflow within our office.

    Job Overview:

    As a Placement Assistant, you will support our producers and marketing team in placing insurance accounts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with clients and insurance carriers, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service. Urgency, Organization and Efficiency are key qualities for this role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist in the marketing of new and renewal accounts to carriers

    Prepare applications, proposals, and presentations for clients and underwriters

    Obtain and review quotes and policy documents

    Communicate with underwriters to clarify risk information and negotiate terms

    Maintain accurate records in the agency management systems

    Support account managers and producers with various administrative tasks

    Track submissions and follow up with carriers as needed

    Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

    Help maintain a paperless office through electronic document management.

    Perform other administrative duties as needed by the Marketing Manager.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    Prior experience in a marketing/placement role within an insurance agency.

    Florida 2-20 License (preferred).

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive).

    Experience with AMS360, InsuredMine and DocuSign (preferred).

    Familiarity with commercial lines coverage (GL, WC, Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, etc.)

    Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.

    Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

    Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
