About the Role: Our company is seeking a Customer Service and Sales Representative for our Independent Insurance Agency. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills. We are an organization that rewards loyalty, dedication, consistency and commitment.

This position pays a Base Salary plus Commissions, a Health Care stipend and an available retirement plan. Warm leads provided. $17/hr to $21/hr base salary depending on experience. Base salary can be negotiated higher with a book of business. There is also an available $1,000 signing bonus. A tenacious, hardworking individual can earn upwards of $40,000 to $60,000 the first year.

Responsibilities:

Prospect, develop, and maintain client relationships to generate new insurance business

Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options

Process policy applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently

Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism

Support clients through the claims process and serve as a liaison with insurance carriers

Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management systems

Meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to overall agency growth

Requirements:

Active Michigan Property & Casualty License (Life & Health Insurance Producer License helpful)

Prior experience in insurance sales and customer service required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset

Proficiency with computer systems and insurance agency management software

Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet sales targets and deadlines

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus
