Our growing insurance team is in need of a positive, organized office assistant. You’ll take phone calls, respond to emails, and direct customer inquiries to the appropriate team member. Other job duties include organizing files and setting up appointments, so we can process claims quickly and provide clients with the coverage they need. Responsibilities: • Plan for office events, appointments, and travel for the company • Enter current customer data into our database regularly to make sure it’s readily available • Adjust to the needs of the company and help other insurance team members when necessary • Ensure customers are satisfied by promptly answering phone calls and emails and sending customers with specific inquiries to the appropriate department • Stock the office with supplies and call maintenance for office equipment repairs, as needed Qualifications: • Solid computer skills, including basic word-processing and Microsoft Excel • Able to complete data entry tasks with ease • Must have high school diploma or GED, some college experience preferred • 2+ years work experience in administrative support, customer service, or insurance industry is preferred • Great written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills Compensation: $35,500 yearly
