About the Role:

Michelle Hayes Thomas Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated and personable Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing team in Memphis, TN. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career helping clients protect what matters most — while earning competitive commissions in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Prospect and generate new client leads through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach

Consult with clients to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options

Sell and service personal and/or commercial insurance policies

Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships to drive retention and renewals

Process policy applications, endorsements, and changes accurately and efficiently

Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and performance goals

Stay current on insurance products, industry trends, and state regulations

Requirements:

Active Tennessee Property & Casualty license and Life license is a bonus

Prior experience in insurance sales, financial services, or a related field preferred

Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales goals

Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer applications

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree a plus

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
