The ideal candidate for our entry-level insurance agent position has the solid communication skills it takes to drive insurance sales among potential clients and new clients. Responsibilities: • Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders • Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs • Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales • Carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals Qualifications: • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders • High school diploma necessary; college degree a bonus • Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial • Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders • Customer service experience is a plus Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 at plan
