Responsibilities: • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients • Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs Qualifications: • Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed • Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required; customer service experience is a plus • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders Compensation: $80,000 - $150,000 yearly
