The ideal candidate for our entry-level insurance agent position has the solid communication skills it takes to drive insurance sales among potential clients and new clients. Responsibilities: • Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients • Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients • Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met Qualifications: • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree a plus • Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills are necessary; customer service skills are helpful • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required • Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed • A candidate is required to hold either a US passport, a green card, or a regular renewable EAD (we are not able to contract with F1 Visa - OPT - CPT) Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 at plan earnings
