The ideal candidate for our entry-level insurance agent position has the solid communication skills it takes to drive insurance sales among potential clients and new clients. Responsibilities: • Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs • Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • We believe in having a work-life balance and freedom for you and your family! We use one-on-one mentorship • We have leads sent directly to your phone • No cold calling, No door knocking, No relying on referrals only Qualifications: • Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs • Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills are necessary; customer service skills are helpful • Working knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus • High school diploma necessary; college degree a bonus • Strong communication skills, you can work anywhere in the country, but you have to be plugged into your mentor (your mentor does not succeed unless you do) • No felonies • Be motivated! This is a commission-based position, and you can earn it if you put in the work • Trainable • Coachable Compensation: $45,000 - $75,000 yearly commission based
