Responsibilities: • Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • **License & Compliance: **Obtain your state insurance license (if not yet licensed) and adhere to all industry regulations. • Product Knowledge: Master life and annuity products to provide customized client solutions. • Client Engagement: Build relationships with clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored insurance solutions. • Sales Prospecting: Develop your client base through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach. • Customer Service: Provide exceptional support after the sale, including policy updates and client inquiries. • Time Management: Balance client meetings, prospecting, and administrative tasks to maintain productivity. • Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets in terms of policies sold and premium volumes. Qualifications: • Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders • Working knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a desire to grow. • Ability to build trust with clients and deliver excellent service. • Organizational and time management skills. • Willingness to obtain a state insurance license (if not already licensed). • You must be authorized to work in the United States. Compensation: $50,000+ at plan commission
