We’re looking for a motivated, community-driven independent Insurance Agent to join our team. This position is perfect for someone passionate about making a difference locally, while helping clients secure the right coverage for their needs. As an Insurance Agent, you'll not only help people protect what matters but also be a key player in community outreach and engagement. Responsibilities: • Build and manage a diverse client base by providing personalized insurance solutions • Stay updated on industry trends and compliance requirements • Organize, volunteer at, or sponsor community events • Manage day-to-day operations, including marketing, sales, and customer service • Build relationships with local organizations (schools, farm organizations, chambers of commerce) to identify partnership opportunities Qualifications: • Strong ability to communicate and problem-solve • A background or familiarity with farming or agriculture is a plus • Passionate about giving back to the community and making a positive impact • Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain) • 5+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development; insurance experience is an advantage • Insurance and sales experience a plus Compensation: $66,000 at plan commission
