Insurance Sales Agent

We are seeking a driven, community-minded individual to join our team as an independent Insurance Agent. This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about making a tangible local impact. You’ll sell insurance products and spearhead initiatives that address community needs, positioning our agency as a trusted ally. Responsibilities: • Educate clients on coverage options, ensuring policies align with their needs • Collaborate with local organizations such as schools, agricultural groups, and chambers of commerce to create partnership opportunities • Oversee daily operations including marketing, sales, and customer service initiatives • Leverage social media and local media to highlight community initiatives and client stories • Participate in, sponsor, or volunteer for community events that align with our values • Willingness to create lasting relationships within your local community Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development; insurance experience is an advantage • Strong ability to communicate and problem-solve • Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain one) • Proven track record of being a self-starter • A background or familiarity with farming or agriculture is a plus • Must be a good communicator and be able to explain complex insurance programs to the customer Compensation: $66,000 at plan commission
