At the Jordan Mertens Agency, we’re a close-knit, driven team helping clients protect what matters most through personalized insurance solutions. We’re looking for an Insurance Sales Associate who’s eager to learn, motivated to succeed, and passionate about making a difference.

💼 What You’ll Do:

Build relationships and connect with potential customers in your community

Help clients find the right insurance coverage (auto, home, life) using a consultative, needs-based approach

Follow up on leads and referrals—no cold calling required

Collaborate with a positive, supportive team to meet shared goals

Provide outstanding customer service before, during, and after the sale

Stay organized by maintaining accurate records and following agency processes

✅ What You Bring:

Required:

Willingness to obtain Property, Casualty, and Life insurance licenses (we’ll cover the cost!)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive attitude and desire to learn and grow

Preferred:

Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus!

Previous customer service or sales experience

Some college or equivalent work experience

Familiarity with CRM or sales software

💰 Compensation & Perks:

Base Pay: $16–$18/hour + potential performance bonuses
