Our established local Allstate agency in Tarzana is looking for a motivated Licensed Insurance Sales Representative to help grow our book of business. This is a full-time sales position offering stable hourly compensation, uncapped commission potential, hands-on training, and the support of a nationally recognized insurance brand.

You will focus primarily on personal-lines insurance, including auto, home, renters, umbrella, and related products. Sales opportunities will come from a combination of existing-customer cross-selling, outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and follow-up with prospective customers.

    Compensation:

    $25 per hour base pay

    Uncapped sales commissions

Expected first-year total compensation of $55,000–$75,000, based on performance

Additional sales contests and bonus opportunities

    Comprehensive on-the-job training

Compensation may exceed the stated range for consistently strong performers.

    Responsibilities:

Quote and sell auto, home, renters, umbrella, and other personal insurance products

Meet individual sales goals through new-business production and cross-selling

Identify additional insurance needs within the agency’s existing customer base

Generate new opportunities through outbound calling, referrals, networking, and consistent follow-up

Respond promptly and professionally to prospective customers

Explain insurance coverage in clear, understandable language

Recommend products based on each customer’s needs and exposures

    Build trusted, long-term customer relationships

Maintain accurate notes and follow-up activity in agency systems

Provide a positive and professional customer experience throughout the sales process

    Qualifications:

Active California Property and Casualty insurance license required

    Previous insurance sales experience required

    Fluency in English required

    Fluency in Spanish preferred

Strong motivation to sell and achieve measurable goals

Confidence asking for the sale and handling customer objections

Strong telephone, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Consistent follow-up habits and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities

Dependable, coachable, and comfortable working as part of a team

Familiarity with personal-lines insurance, especially auto insurance, strongly preferred

    What We Offer:

    Stable hourly base compensation

    Uncapped commission opportunity

Established agency with national brand recognition

    Access to existing-customer cross-sell opportunities

    Ongoing product and sales training

    Additional bonus promotions

    Supportive and positive team environment

Opportunity to strengthen your insurance-sales experience and grow with the agency

    We provide:

    Existing-customer cross-sell opportunities

    Inbound calls

    Quote requests

    Win-back lists

    Purchased internet leads

    Commercial prospects

    Dialer, CRM and quoting support

You will not be expected to build the position solely from your personal network. The agency provides leads, existing-client opportunities, quoting support and structured daily sales coaching.

This position is a strong fit for an experienced, licensed insurance professional who wants more stability than a commission-only role while still having the ability to increase earnings through performance.

Please submit your résumé along with a brief description of your insurance sales experience.
