Licensed Insurance Sales Producer — Allstate Agency
A quick, honest note: I'm Mike and I own this agency. I'm a real person writing this myself. I'm not a recruiter, not a staffing agency, and not an AI bot pumping out a generic listing. When you apply, you'll be talking to me. I wanted to say that up front because I know how much noise is out there right now, and you deserve to know there's an actual person on the other end of this.
What this role is:
This is a true sales role, building relationships, asking for the business, and closing. It is not an order-taking job, and it's not a seat where leads land in your lap and you read a script.
The producer in this seat owns their results. You'll generate your own business through referrals and cross-sells, work the leads we provide, handle a price objection without flinching, and treat every conversation like it matters. The people who thrive in this role run their book like it's their own company because, in every way that counts, it is.
You might be a perfect fit if:
You're already a strong insurance producer and you're tired of capped earnings or a ceiling on your growth.
You've sold something hard before and you know how to follow up, stay persistent, and close (door to door sales, for example)
You take ownership. You don't wait to be told what to do; you go find the business.
You're coachable. I invest heavily in training and development, and the people who win here are the ones who actually use it.
What you'll be doing
Writing new business across auto, home, life, and umbrella and bundling every chance you get.
Working leads we provide and generating your own through referrals, cross-sells, and relationships.
Cross-selling and reviewing coverage for existing clients to make sure they're properly protected.
Following up relentlessly. Most sales happen after the 5th touch; most people quit after the 2nd.
Hitting clear, specific production targets — and being rewarded well when you do.
What I provide
A real coaching culture. We use a structured training platform and run regular one-on-ones, role-play, and call reviews. I want you to get better every single week.
Leads and systems. You won't be starting from zero. We have a CRM, lead sources, and the infrastructure to support your production.
A clear path to grow. My top producers earn serious money and have real autonomy. I want to build the next one and eventually develop leaders within the agency.
An owner who's actually present. I'm involved, I'm reachable, and I care about your success because your success is the agency's success.
Compensation
$40k base and uncapped commission that is tiered based on the amount of premium sold (between 3% and 10%). We do cash bonus opportunities each month and there is the potential to earn an annual bonus.
The honest version: if you're great at this, there is no ceiling on what you can make. If you're average, this probably isn't the right spot and that's okay.
Requirements
Active Property & Casualty license (or willingness and ability to get licensed quickly, I'll support you through it).
A track record of sales success, or the raw drive and coachability to build one.
Strong phone presence and genuine people skills.
Self-discipline, especially if you're working remotely.
How to apply
Send me a short note, not a generic cover letter. Tell me about the hardest sale you ever made: what made it hard, and how you closed it. That tells me more than any resume.
I read every application personally and I look forward to hearing from you!
